Lawsuit Regarding Adverse Health Conditions From Tattoo Inks

Posted by: Medical Tattoo Fan  :  Category: Medical Cost and How To Prosper In Bad Economy

You may have heard about the Scream Ink Lawsuit re problems that many have had with their brand of inks which is not a surprise as all tattoo inks and additives are unregulated. Many of the tattoo parlors that used Scream Inks said they resented the fact that people wondered how they could continue to use the inks when so many were having issues with the Scream Ink products.

The tattoo parlors are quick to say we have our customers sign a waiver and tattoo inks only effect some and those who do have problems were warned of possible side effects. Scream Inks offer a lot of vibrant colors and so many tattoo parlors used it in addition to other inks from Skin Candy, Millenium brand inks, and others none of which are FDA approved for use under the skin.

Many say the Scream Ink is actually pretty good pigment or vibrant in color which from an artistic stand point may be important but what about health and safety concerns. The Scream Ink Ferrari red is one of the more popular colors and despite health concerns many still used the inks. The tattoo parlors are quick to point out that Scream Ink like the other tattoo ink companies put a disclaimer on the inks containers like all the other tattoo ink companies that they are not responsible for possible medical reactions.

The bigger question is why does the FDA continue to let tattoo parlors and tattoo ink companies offer a product and service that is known to cause adverse health concerns and problems. How is it that so many young people are not being told of the risk and problems affiliated with tattoo inks and the fact that many of the chemicals and additives are toxic and some are even radioactive.

You would think that the health and welfare of the public would be looked after better than this, and you would think that tattoo parlors and tattoo ink companies would be held more accountable for the health and welfare of their customers.

Possible AIDS/HIV Class Action Lawsuit From Bad Practices of Tattoo Parlor

There has been a $10,000,000 class action lawsuit filed against Longhorn Bodyart in Ontario Canada alleging that more than 2,000 customers who got tattoos and piercings are at risk of HIV/AIDS and Hepatitus due to the use of faulty equipment. The tattoo parlor had used faulty sterilization equipment from 11/06 to 8/07 and thus used unclean infected equipment on otherwise healthy unsuspecting customers.

To date more than 500 customers have been tested for possible infections and none of these showed signs of infections of yet, though sometimes it takes a while for some of these conditions to be detected. It is unclear at this point if the use of the faulty equipment is due to improper use of the equipment or a defect in the equipment itself. If the equipment is at fault then this may well effect many others across the country. It is very important to have your tattoos done by a reputable tattoo parlor, and be sure they either use new needles or that their sterilization equipment is in proper working order.

There are many blood borne diseases that can greatly effect your health and quality of life if you are not careful about the proper use of good clean needles for your tattoos, and if you feel that you have a medical condition from the use of contaminated needles please call a lawyer for legal advice to help you.

How To Do Well and Be Prosperous in Bad Economy

Posted by: Medical Tattoo Fan  :  Category: Medical Cost and How To Prosper In Bad Economy

If you are like most people you are likely worried about the economy and how you will do if the economy continues to get worse. If your expenses are high like most and you are living form pay check to pay check, and you do not have any money saved for a rainy day you may have reason to be concerned. Many think the economy will not improve for some time but there are some things you can do to help.

When times are tough you need to look at your budget and even many who think they are living from month to month can find ways to reduce their expenses if they really try. We are all used to the comforts and things we have had and think we need them, like cable TV ( many have all the premiun channels and think they need them) and just cutting back on the premium channels can reduce your budget by $70 month. Their are tons of ways to reduce your expenses you just have to be willing to take time to look at where your money is going, maybe cut back on your Starbucks and other creature comforts that are not really necessary.

We all have been living well and nothing says you can’t continue to have a life full of joy and comforts, though when the financial times toughen we all need to find ways to reduce cost and increase savings to make the best of these tougher financial times.

One good way to reduce cost is use cupons when shopping, buy meat and foods when on sale rather than just buying things as you need, and even just turning off lights when you leave the room can help reduce cost.

We all know ways to reduce cost and ways to make better use of our monies if we just think about it, just take time to think before you buy things you really do not need and try not to make so many of those purchases that you do out of impulse rather than actual need.

Americans are strong and creative people and we will and can make it through this tough economic times, we just need to get back to basics and be a little smarter about the things we spend our monies on and we wil all get through this economic slow down.

Joe Biden’s and President Obama’s Health Care Cost Reduction Plan

Posted by: Medical Tattoo Fan  :  Category: Medical Cost and How To Prosper In Bad Economy

The American people want good health care at a reasonable cost which is understandable, however usually what has been offered is either government run health care with higher taxes and substandard care or insurance from private companies who operate with their own best interest at heart.  Obama and Biden believe both extremes are wrong and they propose a plan that will strengthen employer coverage and hold the insurance companies accountable and even give the patients choice of their own doctor without government interferance.

Obama’s and Bidens plan gives affordable and accessible health care for everyone in America, and builds on our existing health care system, using existing providers and doctors as part of the new coverage plan. With the Obama and Biden plan doctors and patients will be able to make health care decisions together rather than the large insurance companies blocking needed health care to pad their bank accounts.

The Obama and Biden plan if you like your current health care and insurance nothing will change except your cost will go down aproximately up to $2,500 a year. For the many thousands who do not have health insurance will now have an affordable option that offers choices and good relaibe care with their best interest at heart.

Health Care Needs To Work For People and Not Just For The Insurance Companies

  • The Obama - Biden plan will require Insurance companies to cover preexisting conditions and still offer affordable coverage to all
  • Small Businesses will get tax credits to aid in offering good health care to their employees
  • Comapnies will have help lowering health care cost so they can offer lower premiums to employees
  • Help prevent insurers from overcharging Insurance companies and reduce malpractice cost and work to help promote behavior to improve good health practices
  • Make companies large and small contribute a portion of payroll toward health care that is meaningful and help reduce employee cost
  • Create National Health Care exchange and offer good affordable health care to all individuals and small businesses simular to the quality care available to government employees now
  • Offer a tax credit to all for their health care premiums that need one

The President Obama and Biden plan will promote public health screenings and good health practices which should benefit society as a whole. Much of the cost of the Obama Biden Health Care plan will be paid for by putting back into effect the taxes for Ameicans making over $250,000 a year that Bush offered to rich and keep in hold estate tax at 2009 level.

Why is it that the government has allowed the large Insurance companies to take advantage of the American people for so many years, and lets them get away with offering substandard care and charging higher and higher premiums for this clearly damaged care. Many have even made movies to put in the spot light how bad health care has become.

Many of the large health care companies have boards whose primary job is to find out how to deny claims, and make it as hard as possible to get costly medical procedures even when they are need to save lives. How is it in the land of the free we allowed the companies that are supposed to protect the health of our people become so corrupt and let them pad their profits and bank accounts by denying needed health care to our own people.
