New Years Eve Poem
Once on a cold and stormy New Years Eve,
I met an old man who told a valuable story to me,
Don’t waste your time with silly resolutions that you don’t really mean,
Take this day to think of all the things you wish you could be,
Start the year off living the way you really want to do,
Stop letting everyone else decide whats best for you,
Remember to show the ones you love that you care,
Stop putting off until tomorrow the things you want to do,
For tomorrow never comes and before long the New Year will be through,
So live and laugh and love and do what God intended you to do,
Because its your life and what you make of it is up to you,
Try to give the gift of kindness at least once everyday to someone you meet on you way,
Give you heart to the Lord and he will always be there to guide you on your way,
But try to remember that you are special and have a purpose on this New Years Eve Day,
Life is a gift each and every day and it can be wonderful if you will just live it your way,
Let your heart guide you in the year to come and you will be happier than you have ever been.
